Dr. Leach is a board-certified addiction medicine specialist. As a matter of fact, he was part of the first physicians in the world to become board-certified in addiction medicine. He provides physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with in-depth mentoring for improving the learner's skills and clinical education in the science of addiction medicine.
Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), which recognizes AAFP members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to family medicine, by their advancement of health care to the American people, and by their professional development through medical education and research.
